Temporary Road Closure: ttro324933N – Road Through Over Stowey, Over Stowey
The works are expected to commence on 23rd March 2026 and last for 6 hours (09:30 - 15:30) to enable Openreach to carry out cabling works.
Over Stowey is a small village and civil parish in the Sedgemoor district of Somerset, South West England. It sits in the foothills of the Quantock Hills, just above Nether Stowey and 8 miles (13 km) north-west of Bridgwater. The parish includes the hamlets of Plainsfield, Aley, Adscombe, Friarn and Bincombe.

The works are expected to commence on 23rd March 2026 and last for 6 hours (09:30 - 15:30) to enable Openreach to carry out cabling works.
We have received notification of a temporary road closure at Road Through Over Stowey, Over Stowey for approximately 331 metres, which will commence on 13th April 2026 and is expected to last until 17th April 2026 (between 07:00 to 19:00hrs).
The works are expected to commence on 23rd February 2026 and last for 3 days (08:30 - 16:00) to enable Teign Trees and Landscapes SW Ltd to carry out tree works on behalf of Forestry England.
